Pathways Equine is the result of a lifetime of dedicated education and a passion for helping horses and horse enthusiasts. Owned by Gracie Kuhner of the Finger Lakes NY, Pathways seeks to offer unique insight to horse owners both near and far. With a mindset based around knowing there are countless different paths to get to the destination - Gracie uses her wide range of experience to set herself apart and think outside the box; always focusing on the fact that horses are individuals and they all won’t fit in the same mold!
Gracie has completed the Equine Nutrition Advisor Program through Legacy Equine Nutrition and is a Certified Equine Nutrition Specialist. This rigorous and thorough program is designed to fortify the abilities of its students and provide continuing education coupled with continuous support.
Pathways offers independent, un-biased, science-backed services to help you achieve your goals with your horse. Gracie is completely unaffiliated with ANY brands or products so she can help you find what's truly best for your horse's diet using the entire range of available products!
Gracie has a spark for both learning and teaching; she is both knowledgeable and open to discussions and differing opinions - making her a forever student and likely a forever teacher. Her approachable nature leaves people feeling more confident after working with her along with gaining an understanding of instructions, theory, and reasoning behind the information presented.
Gracie has spent over 20 years teaching the local horse community through lectures, hands-on demonstrations, clinics, horsemanship, and everyone’s favorite – dissections! She loves giving back to the local youth programs and spends a lot of her free time volunteering and educating within these programs. Her range of deep understanding within numerous areas regarding horses allows her to be dynamic in her approach as well as accepting of new research, information, and constructive criticism - always striving to be ahead of the curve for the benefit of the horses she works with.
With a keen sense of humor and an unending love for horses Gracie has made a significant impact on the horse community and is beyond thrilled to offer the services of Pathways Equine!
